Evalyn Anderson, RN

Consultant, has over 30 years of operating room experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her ambulatory surgery management experience includes single and multi specialty ASCs, in corporate and physician owned facilities. She understands and has experienced first hand the pros and cons of corporate affiliation vs. local autonomy.

Ms. Anderson is a proficient operating room nurse with expertise scrubbing and circulating in all specialties. She has held positions of staff nurse, specialty coordinator, preceptor, OR supervisor and clinical director. She currently serves as Director of a physician owned ophthalmology/plastic ASC that has seen its volume grow over 13% in the last 2 years. She has particular interest and expertise in inventory management and implementation of resourceful measures to improve productivity and efficiency in the face of scarce resources.

Ms. Anderson is a graduate of St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in New York. She is an active member in AORN.
